Suraj, Borcan, Medlion, Andrea, and Nono are between eight and twelve years old and live in Ivry-sur-Seine. The difference between these children and their neighborhood friends? They are all Roma, all five of them, and live in extremely precarious conditions. Their background and social status are sources of prejudice and discrimination that are difficult to understand at their age.
