After a disastrous performance at the annual diving competition held during the village festival, Sam sees her dream of reaching the podium slip away once again. Kevin, her brother and biggest fan and ally, tries to comfort her. Just when all hope seems lost, Thor, a mysterious athlete, spots in her unconventional profile the potential for an obscure but surprisingly popular discipline: Dødsing. The sport involves jumping from a considerable height and performing the most spectacular belly flop possible. Sam’s athletic career may not have begun yet, but it certainly isn’t over.
