Samy would have been better off keeping quiet that day… Especially since Nadia doesn’t really believe his grand declarations. And yet… For love of her, Samy leaves his housing estate and sets off to climb the mythical 8,848 meters that make Everest the Roof of the World. His departure inspires his friends, then the whole Seine-Saint-Denis area, and soon the entire country is following the exploits of this ordinary young man in love. The message is one of hope: everyone can create their own future, because anything is possible.
